UPSC CDS 2024 Notification The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the CDS II Notification 2024 on 15th May 2024 for 459 vacancies. CDS Exam is a national-level exam held twice a year for candidates who wish to begin their career in the Indian Air Force, Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Officer’s Training Academy. To qualify for the Combined Defence Service Examination 2024 candidates have to undergo the written test followed by an interview round and a medical examination. The online registration process for CDS II 2024 has been started at www.upsc.gov.in. upsc cds apply online 2024
The Online Applications can be filled upto 04th June, 2024 till 6:00 PM. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card on the last working day of the preceding week of the date of examination. The Admit Card will be made available on the UPSC website (http://upsc.gov.in) for downloading by candidates. No e-Admit Card will be sent by post. All the applicants are required to provide valid & active email id while filling up online application form as the Commission may use electronic mode for contacting them. Candidates are required to apply online by using the website https://upsc.gov.in/ It is essential for the applicant to register himself/herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceeds for filling up the online application for the examination. OTR
has to be registered only once in life time. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway for filling up the online application for the examination.

(c) Educational Qualifications:
(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai – Degree of a recognised
University or equivalent.
(ii) For Indian Naval Academy – Degree in Engineering from a recognised
University/Institution
(iii) For Air Force Academy – Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and
Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of
Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview
at the SSB.

(a) Written examination as show below.
(b) Interview for intelligence and personality test (vide Part ‘B’ of this Appendix) of
such candidates as may be called for interview at one of the Services Selection
Centres. The subjects of the written examination, the time allowed and the maximum marks
allotted to each subject will be as follows: (a) For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force
