Age Limit for SBI Clerk
Candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age as on 1st April 2026. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd April 1998 and not later than 1st April 2006 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per SBI rules.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised University. Candidates who are holding an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) are also eligible but they should have completed the course on or before 31st December 2026.
SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2026
The SBI Clerk Exam Pattern includes three stages which are Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, and Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). Candidates have to qualify each stage to move forward in the selection process. The detailed exam pattern for every stage is given below in table format.
SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern 2026
The Preliminary Examination is conducted in online mode for 100 marks. The exam includes three sections with separate timings. Also, 1/4th mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
